Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy Concerts
at Suntory Hall Chamber Music Garden
Since the launch of the Academy in 2010, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi (Cello) has served as Academy Director, and has subsequently invited Koichiro Harada (Violin), Kikuei Ikeda (Violin), Wakako Hanada (Violin), Kazuhide Isomura (Viola), Hakuro Mori (Cello), and Shigeo Neriki (Piano) on board as the Coaching Faculty. To date, the Academy has produced the Aoi Trio (the first prize winner at the 2018 ARD International Music Competition Munich), Quartet Integra (the first prize winner at the 2021 Bartók World Competition, and the second prize of 2022 ARD International Music Competition Munich), and other young chamber music artists.
Every June, Chamber Music Garden (CMG) is an excellent showcase for the fellows (academy members) and alumni. Enjoy the fruits of the labour of the fellows in four concerts at the CMG 2023.
ENJOY! Concerts by Chamber Music Academy Fellows Ⅰ&Ⅱ
A fresh performance by the fellows (academy members) of Suntory Hall Chamber Music
Academy who showcase the fruit of their devoted focus on music. The musicians’ introductions of the pieces provided before each performance allows the audience a greater appreciation for the music. Young musicians with a fresh take make up the current students and recent alumni who have won competitions and have joined orchestras abroad and in Japan.
