In 1907, our founder Shinjiro Torii introduced to Japan a sweet red wine called Akadama Port Wine. Gaining wide favor with Japanese drinkers, it soon became a popular brand and marked the start of our winemaking business.

Now sold in Japan today as Akadama Sweet Wine, this best-selling brand has enjoyed more than 100 years of popularity.
