Château Beychevelle

Château Beychevelle is a winery that has been operating since the mid-17th century. Its ownership and management are currently divided 50/50 between Suntory and Castel.

The château and vineyard are among the most beautiful in Médoc, earning it the name "Versailles of the Médoc." It offers a relatively large number of Merlots for a Saint-Julien AC. Its excellent location close to the Gironde Estuary fosters ripening of grapes that create floral, soft, and elegant tones. While this wine is well-suited for aging, it can also be thoroughly enjoyed when young.
